When a storyboard is complete, it is assembled on to video along with the character voices. In this "animatic" the episode really begins to take shape.

The animatic provides a guide for the final timing and action of the animation. As the animatic editors put together the animatic, new poses and bits of visual humor are often added to the original storyboard drawings.
